باکتری های مگنتوتاکتیک و کاربردهای آن ها

باکتری‌های مگنتوتاکتیک دست ه ای از باکتری‌ها هستند که به دلیل قابلیت تولید ساختارهایی به نام مگنتوزوم قادر به جهت گیری در میدان مغناطیسی خارجی هستند. مگنتوزوم‌ها که در اکثر باکتری‌های مگنتوتاکتیک در اندازه نانومتر حضور دارند، اندامک‌های درون سلولی متشکل از کریستال‌های معدنی آهن مغناطیسی هستند که به صورت جداگانه توسط یک لایه فسفولیپید احاطه شده اند. به دلیل ویژگی‌های منحصر به فرد مگنتوزوم‌ها، باکتری‌های مگنتوتاکتیک به موضوع جذابی در بسیاری از حوزه‌های تحقیقاتی و کاربردی از جمله رباتیک، پزشکی، زیست شناسی، محیط زیست و زمین شناسی تبدیل شده است. در مقاله مروری حاضر سعی شده است تا با ارائه مشخصات مربوط به باکتری‌های مگنتوتاکتیک، چگونگی تشکیل مگنتوزوم‌ها در سلول و ساختار آن ها، اهمیت این باکتری‌ها مشخص شود و در نهایت با ارائه برخی از کاربردهای این باکتری‌ها در حوزه‌های مختلف تحقیقاتی مثل دارورسانی هدفمند، درمان سرطان و حذف فلزات سنگین از آب ها، درک بهتری از این کاربردها به دست آید.

Magentotactic bacteria and their applications

Magentotactic bacteria are the types of bacteria capable of orientation in an external magnetic field because of the ability to produce structures called magnetosomes. Magnetosomes, nanometerscale structures, are present in most of the magnetotactice bacteria. They are intracellular organelles composed of magnetic iron mineral crystals individually surrounded by a phospholipid layer. Because of the unique features of magnetosomes, magentotactic bacteria have become the fascinating subject of research in many research and applied fields of study, including robotics, medicine, biology, environment and geology. In this review, we have tried to introduce magentotactic bacteria, the formation of magnetosomes and their structures, in order to highlight the importance of these bacteria. Finally, some applications of these bacteria in different areas of research, e.g. targeted drug delivery, cancer treatment and removal of heavy metals from water, were described in order that a better understanding of their applications could be obtained.
