تاثیر عملکرد پایداری شرکت بر ارزش افزوده اقتصادی در طی چرخه عمر شرکت

هدف: امروزه پایداری شرکتی به عنوان یک رفتار ارزشی و اخلاقی در ارتباط با تصمیم گیری شرکت ها درباره موضوعاتی همچون مدیریت منابع انسانی و محیطی، سلامت کاری و روابط اجتماعی است. طبق نظریه چرخه عمر، سازمان ها با توجه به منابعی که در اختیار دارند، در هر یک از مراحل چرخه عمر، رفتار متفاوتی در قبال جامعه و نیز رسیدن به توسعه پایدار، از خود نشان می دهند. لذا هدف این پژوهش بررسی سطح عملکرد پایداری شرکتی در مراحل مختلف چرخه عمر شرکت و بررسی تاثیر عملکرد پایداری شرکتی بر ارزش افزوده اقتصادی در طی مراحل چرخه عمر شرکت است. روش: این پژوهش از نوع توصیفی و پژوهش های پسرویدادی است و همچنین از منظر هدف پژوهش کاربردی محسوب می شود. در این پژوهش تعداد 91 شرکت پذیرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران در طی سالهای 1388 الی 1396 مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. در این پژوهش از تحلیل کوواریانس و رگرسیون حداقل مربعات بهره گیری شده است. یافته ها: نتایج نشان داد که سطح عملکرد پایداری در طی مراحل چرخه عمر شرکت متفاوت است و عملکرد پایداری شرکت در مرحله بلوغ چرخه عمر به اوج خود می رسد. از سوی دیگر عملکرد پایداری شرکتی در مراحل رشد و بلوغ اثر مثبت و معناداری بر ارزش افزوده اقتصادی دارد. نتیجه گیری: با توجه به یافته های پژوهش، هر چه شرکت ها به مرحله رشد و بلوغ نزدیک تر می شوند، به منظور ایجاد مزیت رقابتی، کسب مشروعیت اجتماعی و نیز استفاده بهینه از منابع به اقدامات پایداری روی آورده و این امر موجب ایجاد ارزش افزوده اقتصادی برای شرکت ها می شود. دانش افزایی: دستاورد پژوهش حاضر این است که بینش ارزشمندی را در زمینه‌ی توسعه مبانی نظری پایداری شرکتی و سودمندی عملکرد پایداری شرکتی در مسیر ارزش‌آفرینی شرکت‌ها فراهم می‌نماید. جنبه نوآوری این پژوهش بکار گیری نظریه چرخه عمر شرکت در عملکرد پایداری شرکتی است.

The Impact of Corporate Sustainability Performance on Economic Value Added Over the Corporate Life Cycle

Objective:Today, corporate sustainability as a value and ethical behavior is related to firms’ decisions on issues such as human and environmental resource management, occupational health, and social relations.According to the life cycle theory, firms behave differently in the face of society and achieve to sustainable development at each stage of the life cycle, due to the resources at their disposal. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the level of corporate sustainability performance(CSP) at different stages of the corporate life cycle(CLC) and also the impact of CSP on economic value added(EVA) during the CLC stages. Method: This study is the descriptive research and is type of postevent research.This study is also applied research in terms of purpose. In this study we surveyed 91 companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange during 2009 to 2017. In this study, we used ANCOVA and LS regression to test the hypotheses. Results: The results indicate that the level of CSP varies at different stages of the CLC, and CSP reaches a peak in the maturity stage of CLC.On the other hand, the results showed that CSP has a significant positive effect on EVA in growth and maturity stages. Conclusion: According to the research findings, firms engage in corporate sustainability activities to create competitive advantage, gain social legitimacy, and optimal use of resources when they reach the stage of growth and maturity. Contribution: The result of this study is that by examining the relationship between CSP and EVA over the life cycle of the company, it provides valuable insights into the development of the theoretical foundations of CSP and the usefulness of CSP in the path of corporate value creation.The innovation aspect of this Study is the application of firm life cycle theory to CSP.
