نقش امارات عربی متحده در تحولات بحرین و یمن (2011-2018)

امارات عربی متحده علی‌رغم اینکه کشوری کوچک در حاشیه جنوبی خلیج فارس محسوب می‌شود و تامین امنیت خود را به قدرت‌های فرامنطقه‌ای سپرده، در سال‌های اخیر در پی کنش‌گری و افزایش فعالیت‌ در منطقه‌ بوده است. در سال 2011، امارات در سرکوب تظاهرات بحرین به دیگر کشورهای عربی خلیج فارس پیوست و جنگ‌های فراوان عربستان سعودی با یمن، امارات را به دخالت بیشتر در منطقه سوق داده است. افزایش نیروهای القاعده و دولت اسلامی در یمن علاوه بر نگرانی‌های امنیتی، مسیرهای تجارت‌ دریایی مورد استفاده امارات را نیز به خطر انداخته است. عُصاره پژوهش بر این سوال اصلی استوار است که چرا امارات عربی متحده در تحولات بحرین و یمن طی سال‌های 2011 تا 2018 نقش فعالی داشته است؟ فرضیه تحقیق این است که امارات عربی متحده با توجه به عوامل ژئوپلیتیک و همچنین همگرایی مذهبی با کارگزاران حاکم در بحرین و احساس خطر از جانب نیروهای مقاومت انصارالله در یمن نقش‌ فعالی جهت مقابله با آنها در پیش گرفته است. برای ارزیابی و آزمونِ فرضیه تحقیق و تحلیل داده‌ها از روش تحقیقِ توصیفی تحلیلی استفاده شده است. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات منابع کتابخانه‌ای (اعم از کتاب‌ها، مقاله‌ها، اسناد و مطبوعات) است.

The role of the United Arab Emirates in the developments in Bahrain and Yemen (20112018)

In spite of being a small country on the southern border of the Persian Gulf and securing its security to transregional powers, the United Arab Emirates has, in recent years, been pursuing action and increasing activity in the region. In 2011, the UAE joined the other Arab states of the Persian Gulf in suppressing the Bahrain protests, and Saudi Arabia’s wars with Yemen have pushed the Emirates into further interference in the region. AlQaeda and the Islamic State in Yemen have also threatened the shipping routes used by the UAE in addition to security concerns. The research excerpt is based on the key question why the UAE played an active role in the developments in Bahrain and Yemen during 20112018. The research hypothesis is that the United Arab Emirates has taken an active role in dealing with the geopolitical factors as well as the religious convergence with the ruling authorities in Bahrain and the threat of Ansar al lah’s resistance forces in Yemen. To evaluate and test the hypothesis of the research and data analysis, descriptiveanalytic research method has been used. The tool is a collection of library resources information (books, articles, documents and press).
