Headache Associated with Metabolic Disorders

This case report presents headaches due to disorders of homeostasis (hyponatremia, hypokalemia), formerly known as “headaches associated with metabolic or systemic diseases. the second edition of the international classification of headache disorders divides headache disorders into two broad categories: primary and secondary. the metabolic headaches are secondary headaches that appear as a consequence of metabolic disturbances. treatment of the underlying disease is associated with the recovery of headache.
