چکیده
|
The foreign body aspiration into the tracheobronchial tree is among the most common reasons of unexpected childhood deaths caused by accidents. in this study, we presented a case of a child who died of asphyxia due to aspiration of piece of plastic gloves. our case is a healthy 6-month-old baby boy who was found dead by his mother. at autopsy it was seen that larynx had been completely occluded by a piece of plastic gloves. findings of this case are discussed in light of the literature.
