The effects of circumcision on sexual functions

Circumcision is one of the oldest surgical procedure that means removing some, or all of the prepuce from the penis. circumcision has been applied to approximately %30 of the male population in the world. the reason of circumcision varies from society to society. in some societies, for example, there is a purely religious cause in the jews; it is both religious and cultural in muslims, aborigines and ethnic groups in africa. in western civilization, especially due to medical reasons. our goal in this review is to evaluate the effect of circumcision on male sexual function regarless of its doing reasons.
