A case report of acut ischemic stroke caused by carotid ultrasongraphy

Carotid doppler ultrasonography is a commonly used method for ischemic stroke etiology. used as a noninvasive method in the detection of atherosclerotic vascular disease. karotid doppler ultrasonography is not a risk factor for ischemic stroke. in this case, this method which is used to diagnose ischemic stroke caused an ischemic stroke attack. in this case i present a patient who had ischemic stroke attack during carotid doppler ultrasonography and had a normal neurological examination after intravenous thrombolytic therapy (alteplaz).
