Diagnosing the duct of Luschka injury at magnetic resonance imaging with hepatospecific contrast agents after laparoscopic cholecystectomy

Bile duct injury is a serious complication of laparoscopic cholecystectomy (lc). bile leakage from accessory duct of luschka is very rare. gadolinium ethoxybenzyl diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (gd-eob-bopta) is a hepatospecific contrast agent that provides functional biliary imaging. in this study, we present a patient with bile leakage from duct of luschka after lc. magnetic resonance imaging with hepatospecific contrast agents can detect bile leakage from accessory duct of luschka especially in lc patients.
