University Facilities Supporting Pre-Service Teachers’ Proffessional Development

The purpose of this study is to examine the views of pre-service teachers about their professional development and the facilities supporting learning at their universities. the data was collected from the pre-service teachers attending pamukkale university and van yuzuncu yıl university. for quantitative data a total of 134 pre-service teachers filled a questionnaire named “students’ views about university facilities supporting learning” developed by the researchers. focus group interview was conducted for the qualitative data. the pre-service teachers indicated the handicaps for professional development such as preparing for the staff selecting exam, lack of facilities at their universities and lack of orientation.
