Problems of Primary School Teachers Working in Villages

The aim of the research is to analyze the problems of the teachers according to their opinions and to offer. solutions to the problems with which the teachers charged in village deal in to days conditions. the population of this research consists of 776 teachers who are charged in primary schools in all villages (except aydın city center and districts of kuşadası) in 2007-2008 academic year. the sample of the research also consists of 482 teachers. the data of the research are collected with the five-level likert scale. some important results are as follows: “inspection” is the dimension that has the highest rate of teachers’ opinions related to their problems. “environmental conditions” is the dimensions which has the lowest rate. the most common problem that the teachers encounter is lock of cultural activities like theater, cinema and the least common problem is lack of respect from country folk.
