Usage of Recycled Pet

The increasing industrialization, urbanization and the technological development have caused to increase depletion of the natural resources and environmental pollution’s problem. especially, for the countries which have not enough space recycling of the waste eliminating waste on regular basis or decreasing the amount and volume of waste have provided the important advantages. there are lots of studies and projects to develop both protect resources and prevent environmental pollution. pet bottles are commonly used in beverage industry and can be reused after physical and chemical recycling processes. usage areas of recycled pet have been developed rapidly. although recycled pet is used in plastic industry, composite industry also provides usage alternatives of recycled pet. textile is a suitable sector for recycling of some plastics made of polymers too. in this study, the recycling technologies and applications of waste pet bottles have been investigated and scientific works in this area have been summarized.
