MEHMED’S ILAG NAME

In this study, the work called mehmed’s llag name has been examined. this work which dates back to the 16lh century and composed of eleven parts is a medical text consisting of various illnesses and offers herbal solutions for these illnesses. the original manuscript is found only in bibliotheque nationale de france and also we have not encountered with any other copy during our study. on the other hand, the work named kemaliye written by §irvanh mahmud has many lots of similarities to llac-name. in the scope of this study, some information about the work is introduced in terms of phonetic and morphological characteristics via giving examples from the text. in addition, an abstract information about the specific group of words (terms) used in the text is also presented etymologically and semantically.
