چکیده
|
Nedim is one of the most famous poets of the 18th century and dertli of the 19th century. nedim was a new-style in classical turkish literature and dertli was one preferred at groups of musicians’ symposiums. nedim was born in istanbul and never went out of istanbul throughout his life. he had learned two foreign languages, persian and arabian, and knew turkish well enough to write books in them. also dertli was born in a village of bolu and had to wander from one place to another during his life because of his interest in arts and his struggle to earn his living. in spite of his illiteracy, he became famous among the groups of musicians thanks to his ability to play the lute and sing poems. although their lives stood in sharp contrast to each other, these two poets were equally loved, respected, popularized and admired in their own ages. they also proved to be equally effective on their contempraries and successors. at the same time, they were both famous for their poems converted into musical rhythms and composed. while their lives and educational status were their opposite aspects, they were akin to each other in terms of their endless stuggles with the fate, their positions in the society, their original and sincere speeches in expressing the delicacies in their world of love, their similar natures and ideas.
