چکیده
|
In this paper, by exploiting the studies of giddens, how people, living in modern societies, give shape and meaning to their self-identity will be analyzed through man and woman life-style magazines. through this theoretical route, another sociologist’s, david gauntlett’s, media, gender and identity: an introduction will be evaluated. to do this, after a brief introduction to the basic notions of giddens’s sociology, the focus will be on gauntlett’s study on man and woman magazines.
