The Effect of Different Planting Times on Yield and Yield Components of Buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench) in Tokat Conditions

This research was carried out in tokat middle black sea transitional zone agricultural research institute in 2016 and 2017 in order to determine the effects of different planting times on yield and yield components of buckwheat (fagopyrum esculentum moench.). aktaş and güneş varieties were used as plant material in the research. four different planting times were applied in the study (15 april, 15 may, 15 june and 15 july). the experiment was carried out with three replications according to the randomized complate block experimental design. in this research, plant height, number of main branches, main stem diameter, protein content, grain yield and thousand grain weight were examined. as a result of the research, it was determined that the highest grain yield was obtained from planting in april in both buckwheat cultivars under tokat conditions
