چکیده
|
In this study, the effects of different doses of vermicompost on maize yield and nutrient uptake were investigated. the research was conducted with three replications according to the experimental pattern of randomized plots under the greenhouse conditions department of plant and animal production, sivas cumhuriyet university. in this study; vermicompost doses were used as 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%. shoot dry matter production and nitrogen (n), phosphorus (p), potassium (k), calcium (ca), magnesium (mg), iron (fe), zinc (zn), manganese (mn) and copper (cu) concentrations were determined of maize plant. according to the results, it was determined that shoot dry matter production increased with increasing vermicompost doses and the highest shoot dry matter was determined with 3.98 g plant^-1 in 40% vermicompost application. in the study, the highest p concentration was determined with 0.80% p with 30% vermicompost application. also, the highest concentration of n and k was found to be respectively 4.24% and 5.75% in 40% vermicompost application. generally, increasing vermicompost applications increased the concentration of macro elements and decreased the concentration of micro elements. the results of the research showed that vermicompost can be used in terms of sustainable agricultural production in general.
