چکیده
|
In this study, the effect of rotary tiller forward velocity on soil compaction and some soil physical properties was investigated. for this purpose, rotary tiller used in seedbed preparation at 2 (a), 3 (b), 4 (c) and (d) forward velocity as treatment was used in this experiment. the forward velocity was adjusted by changing gearbox positions at a fixed engine and pto revolution. the rotary tiller blade used in the experiment is a l-shaped form. in the research, as indicators of soil compaction; bulk density, porosity, mean weight diameter, and soil penetration resistance were determined. according to the research results, it was found that the difference between treatments in terms of soil bulk density was not significant. the average soil bulk density for a, b, c, and d treatments were 1.23, 1.18, 1.18, and 1.24 g cm^-3 respectively. in addition, there was no difference between the treatments for each soil depth of 0-10, 10-20, and 20-30 cm (p<0.05). penetration resistance at 0-80 cm soil depth for a, b, c, and d treatments were found to be 1.84, 1.83, 1.80 ve 1.85 mpa respectively and difference between the treatments was not fount significant. however, penetration resistance of 0-20 cm soil depth was found to be 1.47, 1.24, 1.18 ve 1.29 mpa for a, b, c, and d treatments and a treatment was higher than the others (p<0.05). as a research result, soil compaction decreased with increasing the rotary tiller forward velocity according to penetration resistance at 0-20 cm soil depth. but soil compaction could not be determined according to results of soil bulk density.
