چکیده    This study was carried out in the polycarbonate greenhouse in order to determine the effect of vermicompost (vm) and different irrigation water levels on selected micronutrient uptake of lettuce plant. peat was used as a growing medium. the volume of each pot was 4.5 liter which 25 (vm25) and 50 (vm50) g of vm incorporated to medium thoroughly. required irrigation level is presumed full irrigation (100%) and the 75%, 50%, 25% and 0% of the required water was added as the deficit irrigation treatments. every 7th day, soil water depletion was determined gravimetrically and the pots irrigated by the 75, 50 and 25 percent of required water. both vm doses and water level found to be effective on micronutrient uptake (p<0,05). among the vm doses, vm25 improved nutrient uptake; however, vm50 reduced the nutrient constituent of the plants. full irrigation (100%) was not found to be the best option for micronutrient uptake, 75% provide higher element concentration.
