چکیده    The aim of this study was to determine the effects of different mulch applications under the water stress conditions on yield, and water use efficiency of producing pickled cucumber. the experiment was carried out during two seasons of 2015-2016 under open field conditions in sarayköy research and application station, soil fertilizer and water resources central research institute. three different levels (i_100, i_75, i_50) of irrigation were used to make water stress. in order to determination of the amount of irrigation water applied, 3-day cumulative evaporation values measured from the a-class evaporation pan. while the main subjects of the experiment in mulch applications were no-mulch (mo), wheat stalks (m_1) and agro textile (m_2) the sub-topics of the experiment were irrigation levels. the experimental was carried out the split plot design with three replications in random blocks. the yield obtained by the year respectively; 3512 kg da-1 and 3445 kg da^-1, wheat stem mulch (m_1) 3037 kg da^-1, 2885 kg da^-1 and mulch-free subject (mo) 2852 kg da^-1 and 2519 kg da^-1 values were obtained. when evaluation is made according to irrigation subjects, in the first year, the highest yield was obtained at 3534 kg da^-1 for the i_75 irrigation subject, but in the second year there was no statistical difference found between i_75 and i_100 irrigation subjects. when evaluated on the basis of years, the lowest yield was obtained from i_50 irrigation subject with 2615 kg da^-1 and 2410 kg da^-1 result of the experiment is m_2i75 subject is recommended.
