چکیده
|
Meconium peritonitis is a sterile chemical reaction which is caused by the spread of meconium into the peritoneal cavity after in utero perforation of the fetus small intestine. the second and third trimester ultrasonographic apperarance of hyperechoic areas and pseudocyst formation can be diagnostic. meconium peritonitis develop in 1 out of 3500 live births. according to the ultrasonographic appearance there are fibroadhesive, generalized, pseudocyst types. omentum and intestinae lopps comprimire peritoneal cavity and prevent the escape of meconium to outside. in our case routine fetal ultrasonograpy was normal until 32nd weeks of pregnancy. at pertational week 32, ultrasonography reveoled pseudocyst formation and fetal meconium peritonitis was supperted. in conclusion, in cases with ultrasonographic pseudocyst appereance of fetal abdomen, clinicians should suspect meconium peritonitis transfer to and timely delivery on appropriate center are imperative.
