Objective: a survey study is conducted on the regulation of working hours of employees in a university hospital. current situation satisfaction is studied in the form of move to a system in flexible working hours looking and/or work-life balance was taken into account. material-method: employees satisfaction and effects are investigated in the case of flexible working hours and/or work-life balance for hospital employees, operation time and start-up hours for work. based on the assumption that the number of employees working at the hospital is 275 and it will represent 50% of the population, a face-to-face interview was conducted with 138 employees. surveys frequency analysis in spss, anova test, and reliability analysis is performed. results: when the survey is evaluated, it is understood that 13.8% of the employees are not satisfied with the current working hours and their positions 41.3% of the employees state that they don’t have a problem with their families due to their current positions and 29.7% of them have difficulties in family and business life due to their positions. 66% of the employees express that they have not got any ideas and suggestions for determining working hours. the question about the compatibility of working hours is that 30% of the employees find it appropriate and 38.4% do not find it is compatible. the remaining 40.6% say they are not completely satisfied with the answer and the available working hours. conclusions: it is understood from the survey results that a great rate of employees are not satisfied with the duration of work and the work schedule, are flexible and will be satisfied with the work schedule in which they can determine the working time and start-up time.
