   Frequent Oral Problems in Children with Cerebral Palsy, Drooling of Saliva and Treatment Recommendations

چکیده    Cerebral palsy (sp) is a persistent group of diseases that progresses in fetal or newborn, developing brain tissue, is non-progressive, leads to postural disturbance, and restricts movement. neuromuscular problems specific to sp affect oral health in different ways. oral problems that a dentist may frequently encounter with sp individuals include: bruxism, dental erosion, malocclusion, traumatic tooth injuries, periodontal disease, tooth decay and enamel defects. in this review, oral problems common in children with sp, drooling of saliva and treatment recommendations, dentists’ approach, and advice to patients and their parents / caregivers are given.
