Etik Ethics in Microbiota Studies

As we increase our knowledge about ourselves and the microorganisms living with us, our definitions of personality and identity and our thoughts on this subject are reshaped. in microbiota researches as well as in medical applications, the assurance of confidentiality and privacy is very important. in addition, microbiota, a protective factor in infectious diseases, is an economic and social value in the surveillance of diseases to protect public and individual health. however, achieving this value brings some ethics problems such as confidentiality, privacy, and ownership. the ethical problems that microbiota researches and practices can show the importance of this study.today, the number of human microbiota studies is limited by the information we have and the technologies we use. however, it is thought that these studies and applications will increase rapidly and become widespread due to future opportunities and therapeutic possibilities. therefore, in this article, an assessment of ethics will be made through some concepts such as privacy, property and confidentiality related to human microbiota. it is aimed to evaluate the ethical issues related to the subject and to draw attention already to ethical and legal problems that may be encountered in the researches and practices.
