A Study on the Algal Flora of Phytoplankton in Eğirdir Lake (Hoyran Region)

In this study, oxygen, ph, temperature, electrical conductivity, salinity, secchi disc visibility and chlorophyll-a features were investigated and phytoplankton species were determined by monthly samples between november 2012 and october 2013 from 4 stations which were selected in eğirdir lake (hoyran region). in eğirdir lake (hoyran region) 104 taxa from phytoplankton were found which are bacillariophyta, chlorophyta, charophyta, cyanobacteria, dinophyta, euglenozoa and ochrophyta; 43, 20, 18, 13, 5, 3 and 2 respectively. according to distribution of phytoplankton divisio bacillariophyta (41 %) chlorophyta (19 %), charophyta (17 %), cyanobacteria (13%), dinophyta (5 %), euglenozoa (3 %) ve ochrophyta (2 %) have been calculated. bacillariophyta taxon’s and phytoplankton species number have been found wealthier than others. consequently, according to phytoplankton species, chlorophyll-a and secchi disc visibility results eğirdir lake (hoyran region) has been determined as an oligotrophic lake.
