   In vitro Microporopagation of spathaphyllum (Sweet Chico)

چکیده    The aim of this research was investigated to facilitate propagation of spathaphyllum ‘sweet chico’. the root meristems of spathaphyllum “sweet chico” were used as explant material and were cultured into ms medium with bap concentration (1, 2, 4, 6) in combination with naa (0.2, 0.5) and iaa (0.2, 0.5 mg/l). the highest shoot regeneration was observed (18 shoot/explant) from ms+0.2 mg/l naa+ 4 mg/l bap. shoots grown 5-6 cm were cultured into ms medium with 3 different concentration iba (0, 0.5, 1) for rooting stage. the best rooting was obtained ms+1 mg/l iba. plantless were accilimatised in a soil mixture consisting of peat moss and sand 1:1 (v/v) and transfered to the greenhause. so a protocol was formed for the rapid and micropropataion of spathaphyllum “sweet chico”.
