بررسی پیوند بین اقتصاد کلاسیک و نئوکلاسیک

از دهۀ 1890 میلادی، علم اقتصاد با عنوان نئوکلاسیک یاد ‎شده ‎است. به‌طور دقیق‎تر، اقتصاد سیاسی کلاسیک به اقتصاد نئوکلاسیک تغییر نام داده ‎است. ابداع اصطلاح نئوکلاسیک در سیر تاریخ اندیشۀ اقتصادی کاربرد وسیعی را ایجاد کرده ‎است و افراد متعددی چنین اصطلاحی را به ‎کار برده‎اند. از ‎آن‌جایی ‎که مارشال در تعیین یا اثبات پیوستگی میان اقتصاد نهایی‎گرایی با اقتصاد سیاسی کلاسیک نسبت به دیگر بنیان‎گذاران مشتاق‎تر بود، او در پس ریشۀ اصطلاح نئوکلاسیک قرار دارد. مارشال درصدد بود نوعی پیوند و پیوستگی را میان اقتصاد نهایی‎گرایی و کلاسیک نشان ‎دهد. بالاتر از آن، مارشال در تلاش بود که نشان‎ دهد اقتصاد نئوکلاسیک تداوم اقتصاد سیاسی کلاسیک است. در این مقاله با استفاده از مستندات کتابخانه‎ای و روش تحلیلی ـ توصیفی نشان ‎خواهیم ‎داد چنین انتسابی (نئوکلاسیک) به مفهوم پیوستگی میان اقتصاد کلاسیک و نهایی‎گرایی و به معنای ادامۀ راه کلاسیک، صحیح نیست. از همین رو، با رجوع به نظریات ارزش و توزیع، عدم‎ پیوستگی بین نظریات ارزش و توزیع کلاسیک، نهایی‎گرایی و مارشال را نشان‎ خواهیم ‎داد. همچنین، با اشاره به دیگر وجوه متمایز کلاسیک‎ها و نئوکلاسیک‎ها، بر نادرست‎بودن چنین انتسابی تاکید خواهیم کرد.

Study of the Link between Classicaland NeoClassical Economics

Since 1890, the science of economics is expressed as neoclassical. To be more accurate, the classical political economy is changed to neoclassical economy. The term “neoclassical economics” has been widely used ever since by numerous economists. As Marshall was more enthusiastic than other founders in determining or proving the connection between Marginalism and classical political economy, he is the one behind the coinage of the term neoclassical. Marshal sought to show a connection between marginalist and classical economy. Above all, he wanted to show that neoclassical economy is the continuation of the classical political economy. Using library sources and analyticaldescriptive method, this paper attempts to show that is it not correct to attribute the neoclassical economics to the concept of connection between classical and marginalist economics or consider it as continuation of the classical economics. Thus, we show the discontinuity between the classical, marginalist, and Marshall’s theories of value and distribution by referring to theories of value and distribution. Also, such wrong attribution is emphasized by referring to other distinctive features of classical and neoclassical economics.
