It is thought that early childhood education teacher’s point of view on museum education will be effect their implementations on education process. early childhood education teachers have an important role on children’s use of museums as a learning environment. determining early childhood education teachers’ knowledge, implementations and problems they faced to about museum education will give us important evidence whether museum education is effectively used in our country. the purpose of this study is to estimate the views of preschool teachers on museum education in early childhood period. semi structured interview forms were used to investigate information from 41 preschool teachers for this purpose. the data include need for museum education, activities in museum and problems that teachers face during the museum education process. the data were analyzed using descriptive analyze method. the results show that although preschool teachers are aware of the importance of museum education, they do not use it as an educational environment effectively.
