|
The aim of this study is to present the view of primary school students and science and technology teachers about the reason for low percentage of correct answers in sbs exams. qualitative research methodology is used and organized as an embedded single-case design. twelve science and technology teacher working at public schools located different regions of kocaeli and 30 students from grade 7 and 8 the one who had high, medium and low score in sbs from five of these schools are included in this study. the data collected from students and teachers with face to face interviews using semi-structured interview forms and analyzed with the content analysis. the rate of the student’s failure is stated as; because of themselves, their parents, science and technology curriculum, physical deficiency and subject or manner of asking question.
