The Syllabus in Language for Specific Purposes Teaching Program: Its Importance, Content and Effectiveness

The aim of this study is to investigate how an effective syllabus should be in language for specific purposes program for realization of a successful teaching. in the light of information obtained from depiction and survey, firstly the place and the importance of a syllabus in teaching programs are focused on. in the following parts, by expressing language for specific purposes program, the syllabus of this program explained in all dimensions. in the study, by handling the areas of students , teachers, materials, course-process, measurement and evaluation, the points have been determined to reach targets and success in a teaching program. at the end of the study, by emphasizing the important items in the preparation and application of a syllabus in a language for specific purposes program, some suggestions related to syllabus have been made for an effective teaching process.
