In this study, it was aimed to determine the expectations of the parents with special needs children in the famagusta region from the school guidance service. in the study, semi-structured interview questions were used to determine the expectations of the parents' guidance service. in the study, 68 students from gazimağusa special education center were interviewed with 12 parents, 7 of whom were female and 5 were male. the data obtained in the research were evaluated using descriptive analysis method. voice recordings were taken during the talks and records were transcribed. as a result of the research, the parents' expectations about themselves from the school guidance service: regular interviews with the guidance service, support for worries, participating in social activities, activities to be realized with the participation of the school children and their families, activities aiming to inform all members of the family, information and experience sharing, communication and cooperation between the parents and the parents, establishing links with the beneficiaries and charitable organizations for the weaker socioeconomic levels, making the family education according to the child's needs, regular and systematic, expectation of the parents by their children: to stay in school longer and to keep the holidays short during the day, to increase the confidence of the child parents' awareness of the environment: it is defined as information to be given to specialists by using meetings, seminars and mass media to increase the environmental consciousness of special needs individuals.
