Effecs of Chemicals and Hand Thinning Applications on Fruit Quality in Some Apple Varieties

In this study was located in the garden of manufacturer in konnebucağı, eğirdir, isparta and the laboratory of egirdir horticultural research institute between 2008-2009. in this study, ammonium thiosulfate (ats) (%1, %2, %3) at full bloom, naphthalene acetic acid (naa) (5 ppm, 10 ppm, 15 ppm) at 10-12 mm grit size of fruit and fruit thinning by hand after casting in june was applied on mondial gala 'and' fuji kiku8 apple varieties that grafted on m9. the study of fruit thinning by hand in order to create an alternative implementation, flower and fruit characteristics of some naa'nın seyrelticilerinden ats and was carried out to determine the effects on yield. as a result of this study, while the application of naa 15 ppm on mondial gala 'cultivar was the most effective application increasing important values of quality such as fruit width, fruit weight and color features, fruit thinner by hand after casting in june was also shown similiar results. considered fruit width, fruit size and color properties on fuji kiku8 cultivar, the most effective results were obtained from the applications of naa 15 ppm and ats %2. however, fruit thinner by hand after casting in june on “fuji kiku8 cultivar was shown similar results.
