Practice Problems, Solution Offers, and Horasan District Example of Erzurum Province of Irrigation and Animal Water Supply Reservoirs

In our country, the small dams are planned and constructed by the general directorate of state water works, the relevant departments of the former soil–water, and the general directorate of rural services, and in recent years by the special provincial administrations and municipalities. in this study, about the current status and suitability to the technique of irrigation and animal water supply small dams built in the rural district of horasan district of erzurum province were made on-site examinations and investigations, the current problems and solution offers were determined. according to the results of the research, as the irrigation small dams in horasan district, there are aşağı kızılca irrigation small dam, hacıahmet small dam as animal water supply reservoir, and reservoirs made by erzurum metropolitan municipality. from the existing reservoirs, aşağı kızılca irrigation small dam and relatively hacıahmet animal water supply small dam were planned and constructed according to the technique. since none of the other small dams have passed through the study, planning, and project stages, they were not made in accordance with the technique.
