Investigation of the Usage Possibilities of Some Geophytes Naturally Growing in Sivas Province in Landscape Architecture

In this study, it was aimed to determine the possibilities of using geophytes naturally grown in sivas province in landscape architecture. in this context, as a result of the evaluation of the floristic studies carried out in sivas, it was determined that there are 87 geophyte taxa in the area. these plants have 10 parameters in total according to their possibilities of use in landscape architecture (stunning flower, fragrance, length of flowering period, flamboyant leaves, use in flower beds, use in medians and roadsides, use in natural and artificial water environments, use for exhibition and show purposes, use in rock gardens. use, use as a potted plant). as a result of these evaluations, 55 geophytic taxa, 11 of which are endemic, with 5 or more features were identified. by creating a flowering calendar for these plants, geophyte taxa that can remain flowering throughout the year have been determined in landscape design applications in the area. in addition, suggestions were made about the protection of habitats and breeding of these taxa.
