One important parameter for education institution quality is the evaluation of student satisfaction. this study was implemented to develop short form of student satisfaction scale by baykal et al. original form of scale was assessed, and applied to 681 students of two nursing schools. 24 with less than .48 correlation score were excluded. items were grouped under 5 sub-dimensions considering factor structures and expert opinions, and confirmatory factor analysis was implemented. accordingly, 11 items were excluded from scale. analysis was implemented with 53 items and 5 sub-dimensions, and consequently, agfi and gfi goodness of fit index were found sufficient. cronbach α was determined as .97, and between .83-.91 for sub-dimensions. in conclusion, short form of scale including 53 items and 5 sub-dimensions was found valid and reliable to determine satisfaction levels of students.
