The Application of Basic Design Principles of Objectification (3 Dimensional) in Metal Shoes Sculptures in Design Education

The impact of rapid changes in economy, culture and lifestyle on today's arts is interwoven with the functional and aesthetic concepts of the artworks. the construction of the plastic and aesthetic fiction of applied arts in a contemporary and original forms depends on the creation of an expression environment totally independent and a good art education. this study was carried out by atatürk university faculty of fine arts lecturers and karadeniz technical university trabzon vocational school textile, clothing, shoe and leather department students. the aim of this study is to form a powerful background in shaping the three dimensional applications of designs formed in intellectual space in design education with an artistic expression. with sculpture art discipline and basic design principles, the shoe sculptures from metal materials were designed and these sculptures were included in the study in terms of their plastic values
