   Traditional Houses in Yedigöl Village of İspir in Erzurum

چکیده    İspir which is 144 km distance to erzurum city center is the transit county between eastern anatolia and eastern black sea. ispir covering large area including 101 villages (villages are defined as neighborhood after 2014 local election) connected to county town and hamlets connected to villages, its 44 km above yedigöl is located that one of the closest village to rize provincial border. yedigöl village is distinctive from eastern anatolia with its site condition, climate and closeness to eastern black sea, has been witnessed to habitation since ancient times, in this article “traditional houses in ispir village of erzurum”, registered or nonregistered houses are in kuşdili location of yedigöl village, are evaluated in terms of plan, architectural and decoration features. it is observed that geographical factor, climate conditions, building material and traditions are effective for shaping of yedigöl village houses. yedigöl village houses are generally small houses which have specific features such as tandoor and barn located on the ground floor and rooms without anteroom on the second floor. these houses indicating transition feature between black sea and eastern anatolia, were built in end of xviii. century xix. and xx. century according to their inscriptions.
