In this article, an investigation has been done on the influence of art deco on fashion illustration. brief historical information of fashion illustration has been given at first. and then the notion, the effectual period and the style properties of art deco have been examined. some fashion illustration examples which were from similar period with the active period of this art movement have been provided. fashion illustrators who have made these illustrations are also evaluated. the effect of this trend, which is observed in a wide range from art to architecture, on fashion illustration has been studied to determine through these given samples.
