Research on the Levels of Music Education and Conservatory College Students’ Self Efficacy-Sufficiency

|
The primary purpose of this research is to determine whether the 4th year students of music education and conservatory colleges make difference on their levels of “selfefficacy-sufficiency” and “self esteem” levels. within the mentioned framework, the prospective teachers‟ “self-efficacy-sufficiency” and “self esteem” levels have been examined under several variables. the research sampling has been formed by 50 students (n=30 music; n=20 conservatory) who are currently studying for their bachelor‟s degree in marmara university, atatürk education faculty and istanbul conservatory. the data in the research has been gathered by using the self- rosenberg self-esteem subscale that rosenberg developed in 1965. at the end of the research, it has been statistically determined that there are significant differences between some of the demographic features with “self esteem” scale levels (p<.05).
