High School Students’ Problem Perception of the Loss of the Global and Local Biodiversity

The aim of this study is to search for the students’ problem perception on biodiversity in trnc. for the quantitative research part, 506 tenth, eleventh, and twelve class students were selected randomly for the sample. these students were from nicosia, kyrenia, famagusta and morphou provinces of the trnc. for the reliability, cronbach alpha values are checked for questionnaire. turkish cypriot students’ problem perception on biodiversity dimension was found as, 815. the results of the quantitative data show that the college students are accepting the problem of the loss of biodiversity to a lower extend on the local and global perspective. very limited number of students is denying this problem. significant differences were found among the variables of the survey.
