An Investigation on the Life and Poems of the Minstrel Ferhat Aziz from Borçalı

One of tens of minstrels of the borçalı minstrel neighborhood located within the political territories of georgia is ferhad eziz. he was interested in musical instrument and voice at an early age. he learned to play musical instrument (saz) from the minstrel gulam hüseyin and the minstrel hüseyin saraçlı and the rules for minstrelsy from gulam hüseyin. his poems suit the rules for poetical tradition of the style of minstrels. love, liking, nature, national and spiritual values, social issues, etc, form the subject matter of his poems. ferhaz eziz is an outstanding minstrel to maintain the turkish tradition of minstrelsy in the district of borçalı.
