Do those who have not lived the Religious Experience, Do not know it? (A Critical Approach on Wayne Proudfoot’s Method of Reducing the Examination of Religious Experience to Subject)

Religious experience is distinguished by perceptual experience in some ways because of its nature. especially, the significant effect on interpreting individual’s lived experience (in comparison with perceptual experience) and his difficulty while expressing this interpretation make “a research by outsider,” important. so this situation requires developing several different methods on evaluation of its philosophical aspects. proudfoot searches for a new method on his study of religious experience. according to this method, an accurate examination of religious experience is only possible from the point of view of the subject who has experienced this, and this review should finally be limited to a ‘genesis’ research. this paper has been prepared within the frame of proudfoot’s opinion expressed in religious experience.
