Analysis of ADHD according to Demographic Variables, Anger and Anger Expression in Adults

The main object of this research is an analysis of adhd according to demographic variables, anger and anger expression among adult samples. survey searching model was used in this research. the participants of this study graduated from the university ba program and ongoing pedagogical formation program in 2010-2011 fall semester (n = 190). their average age was 25. the personal information derived from adult attention deficit hyperactivity scale and trait anger, and anger expression scale was used as data collection tools. according to results of this study, as a subscales of adhd, attention deficit had the most common and high level in the samples. in general sample, ratings of high level adhd were %3. in this research it was found that there was a significant difference between male and female participants in adhd problem subscale. in addition, analysis of the adhd problem subscale data indicated that the female participants were significantly more problem than the male participants. there were no differences between marital status and smoking on the subscale and total point. on the problem subscale, in terms of alcohol use, there were significant differences between the groups. presence or absence of psychological disorder in the family with the attention deficit subscale showed a significant difference. it was found out that there were significant relationship between participants’ attention deficit, hyperactivity points and adhd sub-scale of the problem with total scores of trait anger and anger in and anger out. anger control scores did not have a meaningful relationship with subscales and total score of adhd.
