A Study on Becoming “French to (Unaware of) Turkish

In this study we focused on the place and importance of the language in the lives of the society and individual, and on the relation between the language and culture; we analysed some of the most important problems of turkish: invasion of foreign words, alienation in the language and misuse of the language; we discussed the evolution of those problems in the historical process; we illustrated misuse of the language from the past until today; we tried to pose some offers about the studies needed to minimize the affect of these problems to our language; we offered some advises to the teachers of turkish language and literature in this regard, proposing some works they could do in their classes.
