Struggle for Global Supremacy and the Rise of China: Ontological Limits of Imagination

The issue of the unprecedented rise of china, and how this rising will affect the re-shaping international system in the post-cold war era, is one of the most interested and spoken issues in the last three decades, in particular during the last decade. first, the rising processes and impacts of uptrends of the previous great powers have to be investigated for understanding this issue. subsequently, by examining the structure of the existing system, it has to be designated that what kind of alternative approaches will china put forward against the present system. this work analyses the china’s extraordinary rise, compares with the rises of the other great powers on one hand; explains how great powers have affected the world societies in history and investigates the probable impacts of china and chinese culture on the other nations in case of the most powerful state on the other hand.
