The Situation Education of Population in Malatya Province

The subject of this study is the situation education of population in malatya province. a future planning regarding the socio-economy of a country and development of favorable programs accordingly require the detection of its population and demographical structure. in terms of demography, education is one of the major factors, since educational statistics of the population determine the developmental pace of that society. also education has the role of maintaining, or preferentially improving the level of development by transforming accrued knowledge to the next generations. therefore in order to determine the level of education and to produce suggestions to solve the educational problems of a society some criteria should be taken into consideration including the rate of schooling, the transition of school-age population between school stages, the balance between school-student-teacher number. given this fact, it is intended in this work to work out the educational geography of malatya province considering its demographical characteristics, to detect the immediate problems, and to suggest some solutions.
