THE ART WITH WORDS IN PUBLIC SPACE

With changes from 1960’s till today, art is fed by disciplines like science, philosophy, politics, psychology, sociology, etc, further being in a structure interwoven with these, offers different insights into both place and relation with artist and viewer. after 1960’s artists by getting out of accustomed institutions like museum or gallery, prefer streets or public places as the places contemporary art is presented and execute artistic practices allow for participation of viewer. these artistic practices mingle with daily life, sometimes present a critical approach to public problems and sometimes aim to make the viewer think, surprise or raising awareness. the issue of this article formed by works of artists who choose using the writing as the representative of language as the means of expression, in public areas. through with these examples built over temporariness and permanence in the public space, discuss the viewer’s meeting with art, interactions and the consequences.
