ÇAĞDAŞ TÜRK SERAMİK SANATINDA ARKEOLOJİK İMGELEM

The tradition of transforming the ceramic material to an art work in turkish nation is based on centuries ago. however, the examples of the architecture that was given primarily within this tradition have been registered new forms and fields by means of the varied human needs. the beginning of the contemporary turkish art displays as to the history of the turkish republic. it meant a newly established state, a new form of government and from every angle having an insatiable desire for knowledge, learning and art, etc. this is a modernizing and enlightenment process of which first steps have been taken with the support of the state. the pioneer artists of this first steps and new generations that have been trained by them were inspired from the tradition of ceramic art in the way of modernization. however, the mentioned tradition, which holds not only the history of the turkish nation but also the past cultures of anatolia has richness that occurred in the light of archaeological finds. the artists who contribute to the formation and developed the contemporary turkish ceramic art have imaged this mentioned richness in their works.
