Anatolia where dozens of civilizations were housed is very rich region in terms of handwoven art. rize cloth (feretiko) is one of the traditional handweave which contributes to the wealth of the region. this paper focuses on the historical process of the traditional weaving, specifications and production phases of the handweave rize cloth which belongs to the city of rize and it’s surroundings.
