ALEXIA TALA AND DEEP OF THE VASTNESS

An interdisciplinary artist alexia tala living in england and chile is well-known with her experimental prints, artists’s books, installations and her book named “installations and experimental printmaking”. in this paper, the artist’s perspective on the concept of space has been examined through her installation called “intimate immensities” in 2004. to alexia tala, space is an object building the connection between past and present. on in the center of “intimate immensities” it has been interpreted of how the shift that today’s artists have undergone affects their works. it has also been emphasized what contemporary printmaking gains by being synthesized with other concerns, and stated its interaction with new formations.
