THE POSITION OF DOCUMANTATION IN THE CONTEMPORARY ART

In the essence of arts there are saving, replicating, transferring and at the result creating. even, the arts called unique are transferred to canvases, notes, marbles or sentences; they are copies of the ideas in mind of artists. meanwhile, this is replication of the idea in mind of artist to another mind by sharing. this presents aspect of communication of arts. if it is considered that arts can be transferred to future ages, it means that arts are documentation which transferred to next generations. this article calls attention to two aspects of documentation in the contemporary art. one of them, the documentation of the practices of contemporary art, second one is the duty of showing the public events in different times and places, like the duty of arts of in avery ages. it gets out one certain “moment” to show the audiences. with erden kosova’s (2008) words “priority aims of most contemporary art works are opening parentheses in the time; get out the audiences from daily life; to force them for deeply thinking about a certain issue”.
